CLOTHING CARE GUIDELINES

Maintaining the quality and freshness of your clothes is essential for their longevity. Follow these tips to extend the lifespan of your cotton garments.

Washing

• Wash your clothes only when necessary. Airing them out can
  keep them fresh for additional uses.
• Hand-wash your clothes. Our collection, being handwoven or
  hand-block printed, isn’t suitable for washing machines or
  dryers.
• Expect moderate shrinkage and potential color shedding,
  especially in certain fabrics like ikats and block-printed textiles.
  Dry-cleaning is recommended for such pieces.

Sorting

Sort clothes by color to wash similar shades together.

Soaking

Add shampoo or a mild detergent to half a bucket of cold water.
Soak the garment for just five minutes before washing immediately.

Rinsing

Gently rub soiled areas by hand; avoid using brushes or soap
bars. Rinse the garment multiple times in cold water to eliminate any
detergent residue.

Starching

Achieve a crisp finish by dipping clothes in a liquid starch
solution. Avoid excessive wringing.
